Hippeastrum Dancing Queen

This is the third time DQ bloomed for me since I got it two years ago. Everytime it blooms, the flowers are different in terms of being double. Last year, it has more petals. This year, it has less but more stamens are present. I think the variability is due to cultural reason.

Beautiful. I wonder why these characteristics are variable! You mean these are affected by cultural management, or probably by environmental conditions. That is amazing to study.

The delicate colors are so inspiring. I am still learning lots about how to keep these blooming year after year.

They look like that of my grandmother but in double. Beautiful.
