I have never grown the Gloriosa but I am thinking they would survive the summer. Do they come in other colors commercially? It has been a great summer here for the Trumpets and even some of the Asiatics are doing ok. So many weeds though and overgrowth from shrubs.

Hi Clayton,

I believe they do come in other colors. The other two that I know that are commercially available are Grenii and luteum.

Same here, lots of weeds and I have spent hours yesterday weeding as I am off work. After the drought we got lots of rain, which really helped a lot of my plants. I have a few lilies blooming as of now. It has been a weird summer.

Hello Andrea,

I am alright and busy as always. Fall is here and this is the time to do all the garden chores. I have some planting to do before I can start my fall clean up. BTW, the big tree was cut down yesterday and my garden look so open. Glad that one is done. :)
